Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of T.I.N., including its website, applications, content, and related services. By creating an account or using T.I.N., you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet the minimum age required where you live. If you use T.I.N. for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law.

Do not create accounts to evade enforcement, impersonate a person or organisation, automate access without permission, buy or sell accounts, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation. We may require reasonable verification before restoring access or providing account-related support.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Creative Natives Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical display, distribute, communicate, and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, promote, secure, and provide T.I.N. This licence ends when content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, dispute, backup, or enforcement purposes.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to post your content, including any music, images, personal data, or third-party material. You must not post content that violates law, another person’s rights, or our Community Guidelines.

We may investigate reports and take proportionate action, including labelling, reducing distribution, removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, or referring matters where law requires. We apply these measures to protect people and the service; they are not a promise that all content will be reviewed or removed.

For serious accountability claims, evidence and right-of-reply processes may apply. You may use the in-product appeal route or the contact in our Appeals Policy to challenge an eligible enforcement decision.

Where T.I.N. offers paid features, the price, billing period, refund terms, and any eligibility conditions shown at purchase form part of the applicable transaction. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, payments are non-refundable after the relevant service has been provided. We do not store payment-card data when a regulated payment provider processes payment for us.

T.I.N. is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may change these Terms when needed for legal, security, product, or operational reasons. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through T.I.N. or another appropriate channel. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms, where law permits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before starting formal proceedings, you and Creative Natives Inc. will try in good faith to resolve the dispute through the contact below. Nothing limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot be waived under applicable law.

T.I.N. is operated by Creative Natives Inc.. For questions, notices, or disputes about these Terms, email hello@thisisnaija.com.ng. Please include the page or feature concerned, your T.I.N. handle where relevant, and enough information for us to identify and respond to your request.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity, prevent fraud, protect other people, or comply with law. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request a secure method for it.
